Two baby turtles. I just got them from the pet store. A fourteenth birthday present. It was hard. We had to buy a tank, some special rocks, a filter, and ofcourse... the baby turtles! The lady at the pet store said i had to get two because one would be lonely. I set the tank in my room and Flash is already swimming all over it. Speedy is kind of shy and wont come out of his shell... But he will soon!

A lot has been happening since i got Flash and Speedy. I have an educated guess that Flash is a boy and Speedy is a girl. Flash has grown a lot bigger than the Speedster.

Also, the lady at the pet store lied to me! She said i would only have to clean their tank once a month! Well... it's been two months and i already had to clean their tank 20 times! Seriously! Plus, there have been a LOT of times where their tank got so dangerously dirty, they were in danger of dying! What am i going to do?!

Plus, when i ran out of turtle medicine a little while ago, my dad bought fish meds! He insulted my turtles by saying that there is no diffrence between fish and turtles! Rude!

But let's try for some good news... Speedy has come out of her shell! Now she's swimming around as much as Flash is!

And the turtles got some home decor. I got them some shiny green rocks for their tank. Green's my favourite color!

You know, Esme's wanted to eat them for a long time. Every time i let her in my room, she sits and stares at their tank, licking her lips. Ofcourse, she can't because 1.) Why do you think turtles have shells? and 2.) I guard them from her. Well... that's all the Turtle news for today.

I paid her a visit a couple weeks back, to see what she had to say about my turtles, and it turns out, the reason my turtles tank keeps getting so dirty is because i was taking care of them the wrong way! I was'nt putting enough water in their tank, and i was feeding them WAY too much!

Well, the lady told me how much i should feed them and fill their tank. I also bought this turtle shower thingy to install in their tank. Now they don't need that insulting fish medicine. It's been a while and their tank is still nice and clean. ^_^

Also, i would like to say that Flash EATS.

Every time i drop some turtle food into their tank, Flash immediatley swims over and starts chowing down on it.

Hmm... if i had some radioactive goop, i could turn Flash and Speedy into Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles! Won't that be cool?

And now a word from me...

The two crazy kids (Turtles) are doing pretty good these days.

Flash loves to bite thing. I mean, he LOVES to bite things! Whenever he sees something, he bites it. He bit my finger once. >.< Owie!

Speedy is a landlubber. She loves to sunbathe ontop of the rock in their tank all the time. Well... techically it's lamp bathe, since there's a lamp instead of the sun... You get the point.

As you can see, Flash has grown HUGE while Speedy is kinda stuck as a midjet. Typically, Flash has his head sticking out while Speedy is hiding in her shell. Don't be fooled if the picture makes it look like i'm going to eat them. I'm not.

Well, two people said that they wanted to take them, but they both changed their minds. Then one of my friends said she wanted them. I just brought my turtles over to her house today. It was great while it lasted, and I love my turtles to death. But I am confident that she will take good care of them. They're her turtles now and I couldn't think of a better owner.

By the way, I found out that Flash is the girl while Speedy is the boy. LOL.
